Oliveira sejatinya telah mengalami cedera bahu kanan usai tertabrak Johann Zarco di MotoGP Inggris Agustus lalu.
Usai menjalani scan MRI di Australia, Oliveira juga mengaku bahwa cedera bahunya telah memburuk.
Belum diketahui apakah Oliveira bisa turun di seri penutup di MotoGP Valencia, Spanyol, pada 15-17 November mendatang.
